Korea sex
President Bush is on a tour of Asia. He's visiting Japan, Korea, China, Mongolia -- once again ... The week's best late-ni
First Lady Laura Bush went with her husband and spent part of the day getting a lesson from a master calligrapher, successfully painting the figure meaning "Everlasting." Well, they told her it meant everlasting. Actually, she made an extra vertical stroke and ended up printing the word "Scrotum."
Jennifer Aniston appeared on Larry King Live and when King asked too many questions about her sex life, Aniston said, "Mind your own business." King said, "I would, but my sex life is disgusting. It's disgusting!"
Prince Charles gave a speech in San Francisco with Camilla at his side. Prince Charles says he likes visiting San Francisco -- because it's the one city where he can stand proudly next to the man he loves.
President Bush is touring Asia. I think he's getting his cultures confused. Like when he landed in Japan and he got off Air Force One he yelled to the crowd, "Aloha!"
A car that Paris Hilton was a passenger in was involved in a car accident. The guy told Paris that he didn't look before he pulled out. Hey, how many times has Paris heard that?
Snow Wonder: 9-11 p.m., CBS. Lives are transformed when a freak snowstorm sweeps the country. That's the premise in this tale of five different people and how the Christmas Eve storm impacts them. This is a surprisingly good film that's filled with well-drawn characters. Particularly good are Poppy Montgomery as a beleaguered bridesmaid and Mary Tyler Moore as someone who's not as daft as she seems.
The Poseidon Adventure: 8-11 p.m., NBC, Citytv. In the 1972 movie, the captain was to blame for a cruise ship sinking. This new version tosses in some swarthy terrorists and a noble Homeland Security agent. It adds lots of C-list actors, including Steve Guttenberg and C. Thomas Howell. The action and special-effects scenes are good; the character scenes are over the top, with people picking all the wrong times to emote wildly. At two hours, this could have been entertaining; at three, it just sort of sinks.
Nature: Katrina's Animal Rescue: 8 p.m., PBS. Heroic efforts were taken, this documentary says, to save animals after hurricane Katrina. One dog was rescued from a rooftop by a National Guard tank. Four dolphins from the Marine Life Oceanarium in Gulfport, Miss., were washed out to sea where they couldn't have survived. They were coaxed back.
Earth to America: 8-10 p.m., TBS. An awesome collection of comedians and comedy writers, including Larry David and Jack Black, link for this special. They'll use stand-up and sketches to draw attention to environmental matters.
Desperate Housewives: 9 p.m., ABC, CTV. Last week, Bree sort of bumbled into saying yes to George's marriage proposal. Now we know (and she suspects) that he's crazy. We can worry about that later, however, because there's a killer loose and Susan's mom is getting married.
Masterpiece Theatre: The Virgin Queen: 9 p.m., PBS. The second half of this superb miniseries has Queen Elizabeth I in control while keeping her Scottish kin, Mary, in captivity. It's a complex situation that's told with lush visuals and strong actors.
